“Grieve for that Child” – A community rallies against child sexual abuse

Source: Sean Kirst with Syracuse.com Administrators at the McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center called Jennifer Nadler a few days ago. They asked if she could be at their East Genesee Street headquarters at 10 this morning, when they announce a historic collaboration to confront the sexual abuse of children in our community. Syracuse YMCA Leads The Way In Prevention

Just a few weeks ago I (Susan Komisar Hausman) had the great pleasure of traveling to Syracuse, NY to lead a Darkness To Light Facilitator Workshop. Thanks to the determined efforts of the Syracuse Y’s team leaders and workshop organizers, Kelly Miner and Cheryl Walker, folks attended from near and far, representing, among others, YMCAs, social service groups and child protective services.
