Child Abuse Prevention Month – Charleston, SC Activities
Beginning this weekend, residents of Charleston and the surrounding areas have two unique opportunities to participate in National Child Abuse Prevention Month. On April 13, 27, and May 11, Darkness to Light and The Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center will be offering free community trainings. College to be first in nation to adopt prevention training program for all employees and students The Citadel today became the first college in the nation to announce its intentions to train every student, employee and campus resident in how to prevent child sexual abuse. Prevention Month – The Busiest Week so Far!
We have made it to day 20 of our prevention month efforts, and we’re just ending our busiest week of the month. It was a crazy one filled with lots of exciting events, and moments of pride in our community for their dedication to ending child sexual abuse. Last week kicked off with our JTMM (Join the Movement Mondays) at Five Loaves and Mellow Mushroom in West Ashley. Battery Game Saturday Night-Come Support D2L!
Please join us on Saturday night, August 18th at the final home game for The Charleston Battery soccer team. Prevention Month So Far – What a great first week!
Wow. The first week of August has been crazy at D2L-crazy with good stuff! This is the first week in our Prevention Month 2012 for the Lowcountry.
