Teen honored for his work with Stewards of Children

New Jersey – Kyle Bennison, a student at Hopewell Valley Central High School, is not your average 17-year-old. In recognition for his volunteer work with D2L’s Stewards of Children training, Bennison has been honored with a Certificate of Excellence from the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, and with a President’s Volunteer Service Award granted by the program on behalf of President Barack Obama. Acting Attorney General of New Jersey Mandates Stewards Training

Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman today announced that all Department of Law and Public Safety employees will receive mandatory Stewards of Children prevention training. New Jersey YMCA State Alliance Honors Darkness to Light

After an investigation proved Penn State University’s former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky to be guilty of 45 counts of sexual crimes against young boys, people all over the world were affected.
