Wade Robson – Dancer, Choreographer, Child Sexual Abuse Survivor
Wade Robson shocked the world with his recent announcement that he was a victim of child sexual abuse at the hands of late pop icon Michael Jackson. Perhaps the most startling aspect of this statement was the fact that Robson vehemently supported Jackson during his 2005 molestation trial and after Jackson’s death in 2009 stated, “Michael Jackson changed the world and, more personally, my life forever. He is the reason I dance, the reason I make music, and one of the main reasons I believe …

Dear TODAY Show – No one wants to hear from Jerry Sandusky
This morning, the “TODAY Show” released audio recordings from telephone interviews between the incarcerated Jerry Sandusky and filmmaker John Ziegler. Early in his appearance on the show, Ziegler asserted, “Jerry Sandusky already had his day in court.” And yet, this morning, the world was forced to listen to him once more – as he laughed about “sex” in the shower and discussed the validity of testimonies and due process. From the beginning, long before I came to Darkness to Light, the testimony of Jerry Sandusky …

Raising Richmond: Preventing the unthinkable
BY VALERIE CATROW Originally published on the RVANews Ever since the news of Jerry Sandusky’s deplorable acts of child sexual abuse broke late last year, I’ve wanted to write about it. But whenever I tried to piece together my thoughts, I froze. My fingers, my breathing, my brain, everything. The prospect of my child (or any child) becoming the victim of sexual abuse makes me…well… I can’t even label the feelings stirred up by such a notion. Fear? Panic? Blinding rage? Yes, to all of …
