Randy Ellison is using his voice to speak up for those who can’t and he is fired up about a recent sex abuse trial in Jackson County Oregon where a ten-year old child was forced to re-enact her abuse in court. Hard to believe, yes, and Randy was left questioning why some public opinion seems to be centered around the guilt or innocence of the defendant and his rights while a judge allows a child to be re-victimized in court. Read Randy’s opinion piece recently published in the Mail Tribune. You can read more about the case here.
Randy, friend of D2L and board president of the Oregon Abuse Advocates and Survivors in Service, says it is imperative that we all speak out at every opportunity to begin to change how society looks at the issues surrounding abuse.
