Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands Working With D2L
COLUMBIA, SC. June 15, 2009—Starting July 1, 2009, Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands (STSM), a nonprofit providing services to survivors of sexual assault and education about sexual trauma issues to residents of Richland, Lexington, and Newberry Counties, will launch a new child sexual abuse prevention component to their Community Education Program. In December 2008, STSM was chosen as one of 20 organizations to participate in Darkness to Light’s national Prevent Now! Charleston chef Fred Neuville is holding a week long celebration July 6th through July 12th to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of his restaurant The Fat Hen, and the opening of his new restaurant The Wild Olvie. On the night of July 7th, every guest in attendance will receive a glass of champagne and be invited to make a donation to Darkness to Light. If you were to walk into our office not knowing what we do, your first guess might be entomologists: insect scientists. Throughout the office we have ants of all shapes, sizes and colors decorating each and every corner.
